Changing the place of residence means breaking new ground. A complex process is starting with new possibilities and new paths. Little by little, you establish new ties and new relationships are developing, brief encounters as well as lasting friendships. New impressions mix with old memories creating new perspectives. You adapt old superfluous strategies and change behavior.
The series is a reflection of these developments. As when “staking out new claims” I am abstracting the process in multiple layers with creating color fields, overlapping and partially revising again.
