Due to technological possibilities for (apparent) domination of nature, we experience ourselves in the modern society as disconnected from the nature. In contrast to earlier societies with cyclical world views, we have lost our understanding of the vulnerability of natural connections on our planet.

The aim of this series is to make natural cycles and the intensive connection between humans and nature visible. Based on the experience of working as a carpet restorer, I am experimenting with a new interpretation of tapestry. Painted elements and found objects from nature are interwoven together with sheep wool to form hangings.
